Dear Parents,
Our teachers regularly comment on how grateful they feel that we have such a strong partnership with parents. One of our goals this year is to further increasing parents’ engagement with more effective communication and high-interest events. We try to find a balance of day and evening time slots, and in person and Zoom sessions to optimize everyone’s chance to take part.
We have a series of events coming up, including:
- Family Potluck tomorrow night (Friday, September 29) at Acera from 6:00-8:00 pm, hosted by the Acera Parent Partnership.
- Continuous Improvement Session on Monday, October 2nd, 6:00-7:30 pm. This is a series of interactive discussions on the the outcomes of the most recent Acera Parent Survey. To join us, RSVP to Pei Ng at pei@aceraschool.org.
- Strategic Planning Workshop, held virtually on October 25th, 6:30-8:00 pm. In interested in joining, please RSVP using this link.
- Teacher Panel on November 8th at Acera.
The Acera Parent Partnership is planning social events as well! Come to these events, take part in the Acera community, share stories of the unique challenges and joys of parenting gifted kids, and get all your questions about our program answered.
Parents can also log in to the Parent Portal to read the archive of newsletters, teacher blogs, and the growing library of parent education resources available there.
