This class, taught by professional musical artist Dylan Foley, empowers students to take ownership in creating their own music. Students are invited to bring any instrument of their choosing: voice, guitar, trumpet, keyboard, you name it! Acera has a small number of keyboards, ukuleles, and drums on hand, but generally instruments will not be provided. All musicians, beginner to professional, are encouraged to join in.
Musicians will learn about composition, arrangement, orchestration, and performance in a dynamic group setting, culminating in a concert at the end of the trimester.
