Live Action Role Play (LARP) with LARP Adventure Program is a STEAM curriculum that combines theater, martial arts, and costume/prop/stage design to give students hands-on experiences that help their developing critical thinking, creative problem solving, and community leadership skills. We harness the passions of video gamers and get them excited to tell similar stories in a live action setting.
LARP Games encourages students to practice their critical thinking skills through physical activity. These sessions will incorporate aspects of game design as students learn the basic rules of playing in LARPs. Classes will primarily be park/outside play to provide students with an opportunity to run around while also prompting them to develop strategies and tactics on their own.
