Week 7 – 7/26/2021 – 7/30/2021
Have you wondered about the workings of seemingly intelligent technologies in our everyday lives, such as Zoom face-filters, language translators, chatbots, and Siri/Alexa? Would you like to learn how to code apps that use such technologies, and even train machine learning models to “intelligently” interpret words or images? In this course, you will learn the basics of supervised machine learning (ML), and have fun using ML in creative ways. Coding activities will use Scratch with special extensions; previous experience with Scratch would be helpful but not required. The remote section of this class requires your own laptop computer with camera and microphone.
