Last week we launched our Playground & Campus Improvement Project!
The project kicked off at our “Play to Learn” event on Thursday, May 12. Parents and students came to mingle, play, create art, and share ideas on ways we can further enrich and expand our nature and adventure based playground approach.
We were thrilled to host playscape designer Rusty Keeler, who writes books on topics about taking risks and the power of nature in play. In the video below, Rusty shares his overall vision and approach to playground design and renewal. We will share the evolving vision and stages for this project through the Acera Parent Partnership (APP) over the coming months and year so we can continue to get parent and student input in this renewal project!
